ACAD, Cooperation operator
In a quickly evolving context, people living in developing and emerging countries are facing runaway urbanisation. They want to be able to benefit from basic services and amenities. They also want to have a voice in their community’s development and directly participate in the decisions which will define their future.
ACAD was founded in 1997 by a group of planning and social development professionals (architects, urban planners, economists, engineers, social workers, planning experts…) who have a long experience both in France and throughout the world.
Our organisation manages North-South cooperation and planning projects with one priority: always keeping the closest possible contact with local populations.
